Beverly's artistic endeavors are deeply influenced by her fascination with a diverse array of objects, ranging from ancient artifacts to contemporary culturally significant items. Her work consistently explores themes such as the inherent power of objects, the act of adornment, societal perceptions of beauty, distortion, and manipulation. Through her artistic practice, she aspires to attain a comprehensive understanding of how the functionality of an object extends beyond its physicality, often conveying intangible messages. Central to her process is the amalgamation of materials sourced from personal archives, alongside materials steeped in cultural history and tradition. This approach adds layers of meaning and depth to her creations, fostering a rich dialogue between past and present.
